Solicitor Costs

The cost to defend an Employment Tribunal Claim including a solicitor who deals with the whole claim in the tribunal or court.

Hourly solicitor rates vary between £275 - £450 + VAT.

Disbursements

Costs from third parties known as ‘disbursements’. The disbursements that are normally incurred are counsel’s fees - usually for representation at an Employment Tribunal. Hourly barrister rates vary between £750 - £2,000 + VAT per day.

Legal Support Fee

As an example, just the legal support fee for a straightforward Unfair Dismissal Claim ranges between £5,000 to £15,000 + VAT. The fee for more complex cases can go up to £40,000 + VAT.

If you don’t feel ready to join on a rolling monthly contract, that’s fine too. You can still partner with us and pay as you go.
